Transform Lives – become a TWM practitioner.

Interested? Come to the short course commencing 20th November.

“Nothing that I have ever done before has made a difference but this really has.”

“I actually wonder whether I am a different person.”

“I have taken steps for my own wellbeing with my diet, going for walks and going to coffee shops, and thinking, to hell with it”

There is a short course in Wakefield commencing November 20th which is for people interested in training. In the three sessions you will experience some of the techniques, get to understand the philosophy and ethos behind the method and here some stories about clients we have worked with.

Our results

Above are quotes from some of the 150 people who worked with TWM practitioners over the last 3 years to improve their emotional wellbeing.  A lot of them had a long history of trauma; were suffering with unmanageable levels of anxiety, anger, sadness or fear and could not see a positive way forward. Understandably many had turned to coping strategies such as self-harming and addictions and some felt they had no way out other than to take their own lives.

Results that show that after 3 sessions people felt transformed, they felt more empowered, understood themselves better and felt that they now had some self-help techniques to support them in the future.

This is new evidence. I have previously shared that our researchers at Huddersfield University have reported that our ‘results are amazing; the pattern of findings really show the beneficial impact of  TWM’. After only 3 sessions people felt better in themselves and were more able to enjoy activities and socialise.

Why we love TWM

We practitioners love the body-based approach of The Walters Method. It means that clients do not have to talk about painful issues or even make sense of them. We just share deep and powerful exercises that make them feel better: more empowered, worthy and purposeful. Within a single session they can often gain a sense of meaning to their lives and can envision a positive future. This gives them the incentive to ‘do their homework’ and practice the techniques for themselves at times of challenge.

Our practitioner course is on track to be recognised as a diploma level course next year. You don’t have to be a therapist to train. All you needs is a passion to help people and a willingness to work on your own issues as they arise.
