Short Course in TWM March 2025

Learn some of our key techniques

We are running a series of short courses in TWM. The 3-session programme will give you a greater understanding of the Method while receiving some deep healing for yourself. You will learn some of the core techniques that will be yours to support you for life.

You might want to attend a course for your own personal development and also if you are considering embarking on the new diploma course which will be commencing Q2 2025 and becoming a practitioner. you may be new to therapy or considering adding this powerful toolkit to your existing practice.

You will get to explore some techniques, learn about our ethos and philosophy, get to know your trainers and work with a supportive group to do some deep healing.

Your Guides

Anna Boxer and Clare Walters are experienced TWM practitioners, supervisors and trainers. They will be your guides, supported by trainee trainer Anna Mullen.

The Walters Method

The Walters Method (TWM) is a body-based psychotherapeutic approach. It teaches a proven, transformational 5 step process that gives practical tools for healing trauma, letting go of the past, trusting the future and being more present in the here and now.

It’s an innovative way to free the mind from unconscious patterns and ego drivers and instead see with increasing clarity how to be; how to deal with difficult emotions and how to find purpose and meaning in your life.

What’s unique about TWM is that it gives you the HOW. How to let go of old patterns to transform your thoughts, feelings and memories that affect mental health and cause emotional distress.

As a toolkit for positive change, it can be used to help with many issues including trauma, PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, addiction and sabotaging behaviours, grief, remorse and relationship issues.

Plus, used as a regular practice, it supports spiritual growth and increasing insight into who you are, what you are here for, and how to live your purpose.

And due to our ongoing work with researchers at Huddersfield University it has a growing evidence base: it significantly reduces anxiety, anger and low mood after 3 sessions and clients report better self-knowledge, feeling empowered and that their lives are transformed.

Further training

If you love TWM and find the course is a life-changer (which we know you will!!) you might want to embark on the diploma course that will commence in Q2 2025. the fee for the introductory course will be deducted when you register.  become a practitioner.

The Format

Each course will run over 3 consecutive weeks and in addition you will be offered a one hour individual online session with one of the trainers.

In each week you will see a demonstration, join a discussion around what the technique can achieve and when it might be useful and also experience the  deep healing shift it can bring about in yourself. Throughout the course you will be exploring our ethos and approach and there will be ample times for questions and reflections.
