The Journey (and The Walters Method) give you the means to finally and comprehensively let go of negative self-talk, self-judgements and fears.
I just got back from a retreat with fellow Journey Practitioners run by the author and founder of The Journey Method – Brandon Bays. Not many people know that I am a Master Journey practitioner. The qualification requires something like 30 days of workshops, 150 practice hours and regular practitioner development training thereafter.
And wow!! What a weekend. When you immerse yourself in self-reflection supported by skillful guided explorations of your unconscious programming for a whole 3 days you really get to the root of some issues.
I got to a ‘not worthy’ belief. Specifically not worthy of self-forgiveness. Something I got to see has been influencing my thoughts, feelings and actions for pretty well my whole life. And after 17 years of Journey work and TWM, there it still was. What a cross to bear all these years. It just goes to show that this journey towards increasing emotional freedom never ends. What a joy!
The Journey processes (and TWM) allow you to let go of all such life-limiting beliefs that serve no-one. And wow did I feel free and light (and exhausted) at the end of the weekend. I realised what this belief had cost me in terms of my happiness, my health and my ability to be my authentic self rather that a version of me that is constantly striving to atone.
Some of the common fundamental beliefs that subtly hold us back are: ‘I am not worthy’, ‘I need to be in control’, ‘I am not lovable’, ‘I am not safe’.
