When Clare Walters began her career as an ecologist, she never imagined she would one day be teaching hundreds of practitioners how to guide others through emotional transformation. But life has a way of re-writing our stories.
For Clare, that story began when her young son became ill and conventional medicine offered no answers. One session with a homeopath opened her eyes to the body’s innate capacity to heal itself, sparking a journey that would change not only her family’s life, but also her career.
A Method Born from Experience
Over the years, Clare retrained as a homeopath, worked with patients in chronic pain at Barnsley Hospital, and faced her own personal struggles, including the breakdown of her marriage. She discovered firsthand that healing the body requires healing the emotional imprints we carry, often from childhood trauma.
Her search for answers led her across Europe and the U.S., studying with leading teachers and developing her own approach to deep, embodied healing.
By 2010, she began sharing her method through workshops. By 2012, it had evolved into a year-long training programme that has now been accredited by the CPCAB as The Walters Method Diploma.
What Makes The Walters Method Different
The Walters Method is rooted in felt-sense awareness, emotional release, and embodied healing. Unlike approaches that risk re-traumatisation, it provides a safe, structured process to guide clients to the source of their pain and release it with compassion.
As a Diploma student, you don’t just learn techniques, you experience them. Each trainee steps into the roles of client, practitioner, and observer, building both confidence and embodied insight. This isn’t theory; it’s lived practice.
Graduates describe it as “transformational,” “liberating,” and “life-changing.” Learn more
